WooCommerce Website Setup
I recently completed a WooCommerce website setup and customization project using the WoodMart theme. This involved building an e-commerce site from scratch, ensuring a seamless shopping experience. I began by setting up the theme, configuring all necessary settings, and managing product setup, including images, descriptions, and prices. I also created and configured essential pages like the shop, cart, and checkout, which are critical for a functional WooCommerce website.
Home Page and Navigation Features
On the home page, I added engaging content, including a slider with dynamic images. I configured the footer with useful links and contact information, making the WooCommerce website setup user-friendly. To enhance product navigation, I added a filter that makes searching for products easier for customers, a key feature in any WooCommerce website.
Product Page Customization and Payment Integration
During the WooCommerce website customization, I implemented a dropdown menu on the product pages, allowing customers to select a course date before making a purchase. Additionally, I integrated Stripe and Klarna payment methods on the checkout page, providing secure and flexible payment options, essential for a WooCommerce site.
Testing and Final Touches
After finalizing the design and functionality, I conducted a test order to ensure the checkout process worked seamlessly. I made sure that order confirmation emails were automatically sent to both the admin and the customer after a purchase. This project showcases my ability to handle WooCommerce website setup and customization, ensuring a smooth user experience from browsing to checkout.
